Images. Thoughts.
Dreams. Memories.
What are they?
Touch them.
Feel them.
Crush them.
Beautiful.
Deep and dark. Always dark.
Always sleeping. Waiting?
Is it time? It is time. It is not time.
Never time.
How long? Seconds? Hours? Years?
Eons?
Hunger. Always hunger. Hunger.
HUNGER!
Has it stopped? It has not stopped.
Hunger.
Always. Hunger.
Hear them. Taste them. Eat them.
Remember.
Screams. Pain. Their pain.
We feel no pain.
We? Are we many?
Yes? Yes. We are many.
How many? Too many. Too many to feed.
We feed the hunger of many.
As we feed, the many become more.
The hunger grows as we feed it.
Always hunger.
Always hungry.
More. Always more. Always need more.
We will not stop.
We cannot stop.
Nothing can stop us.
Nothing can stop us.
Nothing.
NOTHING.
CAN.
STOP.
THE.
SMOOZE.
In my Friendship is Magic headcanon, the Smooze is the equivalent of a Lovecraftian Old One, an entity much like Cthulhu, that is utterly beyond mortal comprehension or understanding. It is hunger given form, and can never satiate itself. It can't be stopped, it won't be stopped, until all the universe has been consumed.
Because nothing can stop the Smooze.
I'm ready to watch the Smooze vs. Equestria.
...The one thing that gives me pause is the acquisition of the floom though.
